The challenges faced by the QSR, Café, Fast Casual, Casual Dining & the burgeoning Dark/ Cloud Kitchen, are unique and very often unlike the rest of the hospitality industry, therefore the need for a platform that brings this amazing community together to share and overcome the challenges. This is exactly what the Fast Food & Cafe Convention conference & exhibition in Dubai aims to do!
Our first five editions in India, four of which were in the live event format and one was a month-long virtual event, focused on establishing our footprint at home. The response of course, had been overwhelming, and we felt that it was time for us to take the conference & exhibition to the international food service community.
The big question we had was ‘Where Next’? Singapore? Dubai? Bangkok? We really struggled with this one! All brilliant cities, but we wanted to start with just one. So, we dug in and did some research and all fingers pointed to Dubai and the Middle East. We found that the sector in MENA was showing a lot of resilience and promising growth especially in the segment of QSR, Cafe, Fast Casual, Casual Dining, Dark & Cloud Kitchen. And this is precisely what brings us to this part of the world. Just like we did in India, our aim is to bring this community together and curate a conference & exhibition, where their distinctive concerns can be discussed and addressed.
The pandemic has been a learning experience for the industry. As the restaurant industry resumes operations after months of restrictions, the ‘new normal’ has necessitated the need to adapt and implement innovative business strategies. The last year has been all about coping with the vagaries driven by the global pandemic but now, a sentiment of revival is steadily emerging. There is an increased focus on enhancing the dining experience, developing new menu concepts and the need for delivery and take-out – all stemming from the changes in customer behaviour. Another important development is the emergence of delivery only concept through a cloud kitchen. All this and more will be discussed and thrashed out at the conference, by leaders of the industry. The conference & exhibition, will provide stakeholders a chance to determine how these challenges affect a business and how addressing them appropriately will help in improving company performance. At the Fast Food & Cafe Convention Dubai, attendees at the conference will get access to unique sessions, leader speak and roundtables, aimed at addressing the concerns, opportunities and best practices of this growing industry. In the exhibition, attendees will get a chance to come into contact with not just the latest entrants in the food & beverages vendor space but also established vendors with new offerings or solutions. For a vendor, exhibiting at this event is a good way to raise their profile and build brand awareness and generate qualified sales leads.
After all that we have gone through in the recent past, here is a safe space to unwind with your community. Know that you are not alone and a lot can be learnt through shared experiences, which is what the conference encourages.
Meet and network with people from all parts of the food & beverages value chain. Create new connections that will help, as you make headway in an incredibly variable future.
More than ever now, we all know that some tweaks have to be made in all the existing business models. Get an opportunity here to discuss ideas with like-minded individuals.

"It was an absolute pleasure being a part of the Fast Food & Café Convention & The Pub Convention. the shows worked out well for us and more importantly we got the opportunity to meet with some interesting customers and stakeholders"
The convention was a resounding success, I got to meet a lot of influential people from the industry. This platform gives an opportunity for us to understand the challenges faced by the industry. It equips us to take back these learnings and apply it to our product making them more relevant and precise.
It was a great platform to interact with prospective customers on a 1-2-1 basis and come out with a win - win solution. At the end of it all it felt that we could have aligned more meetings through the day
